Concord boys oust Lakeland

Ramon Johnson fired in 25 points, dished out nine assists and grabbed eight rebounds in leading Concord past Lakeland, 67-55 in varsity boys basketball action Wednesday night in LaGrange.

Filip Serwatka collected 22 points and eight boards for the 2-1 Minutemen, who used a 16-8 surge in the third period to boost what had been a four-point halftime lead to 11 (47-36). Danny McMahon garnered seven assists.

Chandler Mynhier tallied 16 points and Eric Herber 14 to pace the Lakers, who fell to 2-2 overall. Mynhier also snared nine rebounds and made three steals.
