Chris N. Eash, 86, LaGrange, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1928, in LaGrange County, to Noah T. and Katie J. (Yoder) Eash.
Living all his life in LaGrange County, he was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after many years with the Indiana Toll Road Maintenance Department. He was a member of the Northeast Indiana Steam and Gas Association.
He was married March 12, 1950, in LaGrange, to Betty Stutzman. She preceded him in death on December 24, 2013.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gary L. Eash, Wolcottville, and Steven D. and Karen Eash, LaGrange; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Saloma N. Eash, Topeka, and Katie Mae Miller, LaGrange; and two brothers, John H. Eash, Raymondville, Mo., and Levi N. Eash, Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sons, Bruce A. Eash, Terry L. Eash and Kerry D. Eash, and one brother, Amos N. Eash.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 28, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Chaplain Dave Elick officiating.
Burial is in Ontario Cemetery, rural Howe.
