LaGrange County Highway Department workers are expected to start the annual “chip and seal” road project this week. LaGrange County Highway Superintendent Jeff Brill reported that some 62 miles of road will be in this year’s project.
Brill also note that roadsides have been mowed for the first time and a second round of mowing will start next week.
A note was made of the deep horse trough on US 20 between CR 850W and CR 1000W. Brill said that he will contact the regional state highway supervisor in Ft. Wayne to report the matter.
