Chase Eugene Scott, 23, Howe, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Wolcottville due to injuries sustained in a vehicle/motorcycle accident.
He was born December 9, 1988, in Sturgis, Mich., to Carl II and Denise (Lambright) Scott.
Living all his life in LaGrange County, he worked in the research and development department at Forest River Marine. He was a 2008 graduate of Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Fla., and a member of H.O.G (Harley Owners Group).
Surviving are his parents, Carl II and Denise (Lambright) Scott, LaGrange; his fiancé, Gloria Burdette, Howe; grandparents Harvey C. and Patricia Lambright, Howe; his stepgrandfather, Gregory Hart, LaGrange; six aunts and uncles, Debra Lambright and her companion Meredith Cameron, LaGrange, Dodie and J.R. Hart, Shipshewana, Steve and Patsy Scott, Burr Oak, Mich., Randall “Lumpy” Scott, LaGrange, Susan and Bill Hedl, Walkerton, Ind., and Barbara and Steve Parsons, Kendallville; and his fiancé’s parents, Charlie and Angie Burdette, Shipshewana.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary L. Hart, his grandfather, Carl Scott, and a cousin, Corey Whitcomb.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, August, 17, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 18, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Reverend Jeffrey Stedge officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.
