Charles E.” Ed” Sawyer, 45, of LaGrange, died Friday, January 31, 2014 in the emergency room at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1968, in Kendallville, Ind., to Reverend William J. and Delores J. (Ritchie) Sawyer.
Living all his life in LaGrange County, he was a 20-year employee and CV Tech at Nishikawa Standard Company in Topeka.
He was married July 3, 1998, in South Milford, Ind., to Vada Sparkman. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Delores Sawyer, LaGrange; four daughters and one son-in-law, Camryn and Ciara Sawyer, both of LaGrange, Heather Lovely, Indianapolis, and Bambi and Frank Pasztor, Kendallville, Ind.; three grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Naomi and Trinity Adamski, Orland, and Regina Creech, LaGrange; and two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Chuck and Tina Sawyer, Howe, David Sawyer, LaGrange, and Angie Sawyer, LaGrange.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reverend William Sawyer, and one brother, Rodney L. Sawyer.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, at South Milford Independent Church with a 6 p.m. service.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 6, at South Milford Independent Church with Reverend Earl Bolen and Reverend Samuel Weimer officiating.
Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery, rural Wolcottville.
