Central Noble banged out nine hits and benefitted from six Prairie Heights errors in a 9-2 victory over the visiting Lady Panthers in NECC softball Tuesday.
Kennedy Forker ripped a two-run triple and Darby Roe slugged a two-run double to spearhead the Lady Cougar attack. McKynzi Grayless produced two hits and two RBI, Ashley Stevens two hits and three runs, and Kati Lee two hits.
Taylor Combs drove in one of the Lady Panther runs with a double, while Erin Rench lined an RBI single. Jordan Engel-Walworth had three hits, including a double, while Shawna Carbone rapped two hits and scored both Heights runs.
Haley Duncan was the winning pitcher for Central Noble, striking out five and walking one. Taryn Neff did the pitching for the Lady Panthers, whiffing six and walking four.
