Cathryn Miller

    Cathryn Miller, 80, Topeka, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Life Care Center of LaGrange.

    She was born July 13, 1935, in LaGrange County, to Albert and Saloma (Troyer) Yoder.

    She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.

    She was married November 29, 1956, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Ora W. Miller. He survives.

    Also surviving are four daughters, Elsie (David Earl) Keim, Hutchinson, Kan., Esther (Merle) Yoder, Lincoln, Mo., Rosetta (Richard) Mast, Millersburg, Ind., and Martha (Allen) Hostetler, Shreve, Ohio; four sons, William (Mary) Miller, Brodhead, Wisc., Laverne (Mary) Miller, Topeka, Leroy (Verda) Miller, Wolcottville, and Eldon (Dorothy) Miller, Broomfield, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Carol (Robert) Yoder, Goshen; 52 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Yoder and Mae (Crist) Yoder, both of Hutchinson, Kan.; three brothers, Melvin (Gertie) Yoder, Hutchinson, Kan., Mervin Yoder, Partridge, Kan., and Harry (Mary) Yoder, Middlebury; and a sister-in-law, Vera Yoder, Haven, Kan.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Thomas Leon and infant Jerry Wayne Miller, one grandson, Marvin Lee Keim, and one brother, Thomas Yoder.

    Funeral services was held Sunday, July 26, at the family residence, 5390 S. 675 W., Topeka, with Bishop David Miller and home ministers officiating.

    Burial is in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
