Cat and Dog Angels

Millie DusSault, Brian Cochran, and Jeanette Hagnes, above, are with the "Angels of Hope," a non-profit project through the Angel Workshop at Heartlight Center in Sturgis , visited the Ark Sanctuary. The project began in September 2006 to present a handmade wooden angel to every nursing home, children's hospital, hospice house, or any other facility that wanted one. Each angel carries the message, "Do not be afraid. You are not alone." Angels of Hope is sending out cat and dog angels to animal shelters that are caring for the animals’ needs and reuniting them when possible with their human families. Anyone interested in helping Angels of Hope can e-mail or call 269-651-2234.
