Carry F. “Duffy” Dearduff, 68, Howe, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at his residence.
He was born June 22, 1945, in Muncie, Ind., to Carry and Golden Jewel (Mays) Dearduff.
Living most of his life in Howe, he worked at Harter Corporation for 20 years and the Sturgis Bowling Alley for 31 years, retiring in 2009.
Surviving are his longtime companion, Jan Michielson, Howe; four daughters, Cathy (Kent) Brammer, Muncie, Ind., Fay (Alan) VandenBosch, Sturgis, Mich., Sonya Dearduff, Howe, and Katina Dearduff, Howe; one son, Carry Dearduff, Muncie, Ind.; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Benny) Mcbey, Arkansas; his best friend, Phil Kulpinski, Burr Oak, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Brittni Burkehead.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes in Sturgis, Mich.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes in Sturgis, Mich.
