Carlene P. Marsh, 79, Fremont, Ind., died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater, Mich.
She was born November 6, 1933, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Carl and Helen (Whitt) Collyer.
Growing up in Calhoun County, she lived in Fremont, Ind., for the past 15 years. She previously lived in Akron, Ind., for many years. She was a homemaker and was a manager for Franger Propane in Akron, Ind., and an administrator at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester, Ind. for several years.
She was married February 4, 1951, in Reading, Mich., to Herman D. Marsh. He preceded her in death in February 2010.
Surviving are four children, Frank (Karen) Marsh, Howe, Deb Truchell, Colorado, Denise (Dan) Mason, Maryville, Tenn., and Robert Marsh, LaGrange; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Grinnell, Tekonsha, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Carl A. Collyer.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-noon at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater, Mich.
Funeral service will be noon Monday, June 17, at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater, Mich., with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery, Burlington Township, MI.
