Canterbuy baseballers top Prarie Heights

Fort Wayne Canterbury scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning and topped Prairie Heights, 9-8 in varsity baseball play Tuesday.

The three-spot capped off a furious rally by the Cavaliers which saw them erase an early, 7-1 deficit.

Bobby Blum, Bo Murphy and Jacob Heller all smacked RBI doubles for the Panthers. Lining run-scoring singles were Tanner Terry, Jared Beechy and Quinten Bland. Joey Barry and Dylan Stayner each doubled.

Beechy, Murphy, Mike Gustin and Heller each took turns on the mound for Heights with Murphy suffering the loss.

The Panthers dipped to 6-4 with the setback.
