Calvin Kirk “Kelly” Thomas, 60, Lakeville, Ind., formerly of Rome City, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at his residence.
He was born November 23, 1952, in Ft. Wayne, to Robert and Bonita (Driscoll) Thomas.
He lived in Lakeville for eight years, coming from Rome City.
Surviving are his mother, Bonita Austin, Nebraska; his companion, Sherri Crone, Lakeville, Ind.; three daughters, Katy (Dustin Siders) Wilken, Ft. Wayne, Tesia (Donnie) Himes, Wolcottville, and Kelli (Andrew Watson) Thomas, Kendallville; one son, Josh (Devan) Thomas, Auburn, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Amanda (Ryan) Kauffman, Wolcottville, Jill (Jim) Martino, Rome City, and Nicole (Billy Bob) Sorrell, Wolcottville; three stepsons, Dennis Hawkes II, Lakeville, Ind., Donovan Hawkes, Lakeville, Ind., and Todd (Peggy) Patrick, Wolcottville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Wendy Pihajlic, Colorado, Vicki Rich, Nebraska, Brenda Thomas, Arizona, and Candy Delegrange, Huntington, Ind.; and six brothers, Shel Thomas, Nevada, Stan Thomas, Indianapolis, Ind., Robert Thomas, Washington, Raymond Thomas, Arizona, Brian Thomas, Arizona, and Richard Thomas, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Thomas.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. Thursday, January 24, at Grace Christian Church in Kendallville.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 25, at Grace Christian Church in Kendallville with Pastor Chris Mosley and Pastor Scott Mosley officiating.
