Brunstetter book signing September 15

Award winning bestselling author Wanda Brunstetter will be in Shipshewana for a “Meet the Author and Book Signing” event from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Jean Brunstetter will also be meeting readers and signing copies of her newly released book, The Lopsided Christmas Cake, which she co-authored with her mother-in-law, Wanda Brunstetter.

Both book signings will take place at J. Farvers Christian Books and Gifts, located in Yoder’s Red Barn Shoppes at 451 S. Van Buren Street in Shipshewana.

Wanda Brunstetter is an award-winning romance novelist who has led millions of readers to lose their heart in the Amish life. She is the author of over 60 books with more than six million copies sold. Wanda is considered one of the founders of the Amish fiction genre. Her most recent releases include The Decision, The Gift, and The Lopsided Christmas Cake.

Wanda’s fascination with the Amish culture developed when she met her husband, Richard, who grew up in a Mennonite church and whose family has a Pennsylvania Dutch heritage. Meeting her new Mennonite sister-in-laws caused Wanda to yearn for the simpler life. In their travels, she and her husband have become close friends with many Amish people across America. All of Wanda’s novels are based on personal research intended to accurately portray the Amish way of life. Many of her books are well-read and trusted by the Amish, who credit her for giving readers a deeper understanding of the people and their customs.
