Brandon Terris Smith, 28, Sturgis, Mich., died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Sturgis, Mich.
He was born November 13, 1985, in LaGrange, to Terry and Brenda (Conley) Smith.
Living all his life in Sturgis, Mich., he was a 2004 graduate of Sturgis High School and a 2006 graduate of Universal Technical Institute in Chicago, Ill. He worked at Banks Hardwood in Mottville and was co-owner of Bad Boys Pro Shop at the Sturgis Bowl in Sturgis, Mich., and Bronson Strike Zone in Bronson, Mich., with his father. He also worked at Jett in Middlebury. He was currently coach of the Sturgis High School Boys Varsity Bowling team.
He was married March 7, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nev., to Casey Jo McDonald. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents, Terry and Brenda Smith, Sturgis, Mich.; one brother, Corey (Mary Kathryn) Smith, Birmingham, Ala.; two nieces: Kaylee Smith, Alabama, and Raven Smith, North Carolina; his grandparents, Vonda Smith, Sturgis, Mich., and Tinia and Floyd Bolton, Wolcottville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 7, at Sturgis Wesleyan Church in Sturgis, Mich.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 8, at Sturgis Wesleyan Church in Sturgis, Mich., with Reverend Bob Renner officiating.
Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City, Ind.
