Bowlers raise money for Charity

Seventy bowlers helped Big Brothers Big Sisters “Start Something” by celebrating Bowl For Kids’ Sake in Branch, Hillsdale, LaGrange and St. Joseph counties during two bowling sessions on Saturday, March 17, in Bronson, Mich.

The groups raised over $5,500 which will help support Big Brothers Big Sisters programs in making a positive, long-lasting impact on the children of Branch, Hillsdale, LaGrange and St. Joseph counties.

More than 1,800 bowlers across Indiana and Michigan helped raise over $180,000 to support Big Brothers Big Sisters. All funds raised will be allotted respectively to the expansion of mentoring programs in each serviced county.

Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring works to help broaden children’s perspectives and allow them to make good choices for the better, forever. 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana.
