The Big Give returns to Shipshewana

The Big Give 2 is being held from 9 a.m. until noon this Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Shipshewana Town Center.

Last year’s event was a surprise hit with area residents who are struggling and lined up around the building to find items that they needed at the event.

This year’s event promises to be just as popular, with a wide variety of items to be given away. Items will include: coats, hats, gloves, boots, various clothing items, food, diapers, laundry soap, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo, and toothpaste.

Haircuts will be provided for those attending. There will also be a photographer on site to take family pictures.

The event is being organized and supported by the Shipshewana Ministerial Association, Brethren Retreat at Shipshewana Lake, Lifegate Church, Marion Mennonite Church, Shipshewana United Methodist Church, Shore Mennonite Church, Lima-Scott United Methodist Church, and Eden Worship Center.
