Beverly J. Quance, 83, Auburn, died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at North Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albion.
She was born December 13, 1927, in Auburn, to Harold B. and Helen I. (Carter) Bolley.
She was a 1945 graduate of Auburn High School and a clerk at the Allen County Courthouse for 20 years, retiring in 1984. She was an active member and office volunteer of the First United Methodist Church in Auburn.
She was married August 16, 1947, in Auburn, to Robert B. Quance. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Garth Coons, Wawaka; one son and daughter-in-law, Carter and Marty Quance, Warsaw; five grandchildren and their spouses, Aaron Quance, Melita and Cheryl Schwartz, Corban and Caitlin Quance, Lindsay and Justin Chaple, and Michelle and Ian Murphy; six great-grandchildren; and her stepmother, Melba Bolley, Mesa, Ariz.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, December 17, at First United Methodist Church in Auburn.
Memorial services will be noon Saturday, December 17, at First United Methodist Church in Auburn with Reverend Ted Jansen officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
