Betty A. VanDeKeere, 81, LaGrange, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange.
She was born April 19, 1932, in LaGrange, to Raymond and Anna (Brown) Keplinger.
Living all her life in LaGrange, she worked at Transagram and was a cook at Miller’s Merry Manor. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was married August 22, 1981, in LaGrange, to Frank E. VanDeKeere. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2011.
Surviving are three stepdaughters, Barbara (George) Clouse, Sturgis, Mich., Karen “Susie” Adams, Millersburg, Ind., and Frances (David) McCrory, Columbia City, Ind.; four stepsons, Edward (Mary) VanDeKeere, Ft. Wayne, Ind., Michael VanDeKeere, LaGrange, David (Florence) VanDeKeere, Topeka, and Scott (Anne) VanDeKeere, Indianapolis, Ind.; 16 stepgrandchildren and 21 stepgreat-grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Juanita Kirkpatrick, and two brothers, Paul and Carl Dean Keplinger.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with a 5 p.m. Rosary Service.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaGrange with Father J Steele, CSC officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.
