Betty Eash, 81, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Eash was born on July 20, 1932 in LaGrange County to Ralph A. and Edna Mae (Chupp) Stutzman.
Living her lifetime in LaGrange County, she was a homemaker and artist. She had also worked at Starcraft and had done ceramics and upholstery from her home. She was a member of the Sharing Doll Club in LaGrange.
On March 12, 1950 in LaGrange, she married Chris N. Eash; he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Gary L. Eash of Wolcottville, and Steven D. (Karen) Eash of LaGrange; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie McNabb of LaGrange, and Mary Boyd of LaGrange; and five brothers, Robert Stutzman of Goshen, Ind., Willis Stutzman of Goshen, Ind., Floyd Stutzman of Ashley, Amos Stutzman of Syracuse, Ind. and Don D. Stutzman of Goshen, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Terry L. and Kerry D. Eash on January 5, 1961 and Bruce A. Eash on August 3, 1997; and five brothers, Ray, Ralph, Kenneth, Glenn and Dale Stutzman.
Funeral services were held on Monday, December 30, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange, with Chaplain Dave Elick officiating.
Burial was in Ontario Cemetery in rural Howe.
