Betty M. Booher, 78, Wolcottville, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at her residence.
She was born October 3, 1934, in Porter, Mich., to Alvie E. and Nellie (Ashcraft) Foreman.
Moving from Bluffton to the area in September 1976, she worked alongside her husband in their business called Charlie’s Micro Film in LaGrange. She was a member of Harvest Community Church of Kendallville and Green Chapel Church in Wolcottville.
She was married December 27, 1974, in Liberty Center, Ind., to Charles J. Booher. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2000.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lana K. and Scott Zoll, Liberty Center, Ind., Brenda S. Barkdull, Bluffton, Ind., and Jenina A. and Keith Penrod, Broken Arrow, Okla.; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger D. Jr. and Sharie Mertz, Montpelier, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Kandace L. and Ray Reber, Liberty Center, Ind., Debra R. and Don Rogers, Liberty Center, Ind., and Terri A. and Michael Parsons, Bluffton, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Patsy J. Foreman, Charlotte, Mich.; one brother and sister-in-law, Perry M. and Diane Foreman, Muskegon, Mich.; and a sister-in-law, Sue (Foreman) Steffen, Ravenna, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Pamela Jean Mertz, one granddaughter, Jaime S. Barkdull, one grandson, Matthew J. Zoll, and one brother, Jack Foreman.
Services were held Friday, January 4, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Pastor Rich Laskowski, Pastor Jack Crothers, and Pastor Melvin Heiniger officiating.
Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.
