Barbara Aletha Whetstone, 74, Middlebury, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Ocala, Fla.
She was born October 12, 1937 in Kosciusko County, Ind., to Harold and Anita (Rizzo) Miller.
She was a 1956 graduate of Elkhart High School, a homemaker, worked at area factories, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Middlebury.
She was married November 25, 1965, in Elkhart, County, to David Whetstone. He survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Annette (Greg) Hubbart, Warsaw, Ind., Cherylee (Scott) Wood, Ft. Wayne, Ind., Dorene (Brian) Adams, Osceola, Ind., and Anita Sue Whitmer (Wendell Bradford), Deltona, Fla.; one son, Brandt D. Whetstone, Nevada; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester (Nora) Miller of Goshen, Dennis Miller of LaGrange; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, May 18, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at First United Methodist Church in Middlebury with Pastor Steve Ellis officiating.
Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
