Audrey M. Duncan, 98, LaGrange, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her residence.
She was born May 11, 1916, in Dumbleton, Gloucester, England, to Edward and Alice Priscilla (Blanch) Hopkins.
Moving from Warsaw, Ind., to LaGrange in 1965, she and her husband David owned and operated The LaGrange Café for many years and attended the Presbyterian Church.
She was married December 18, 1943, in Gloucester, England, to David Duncan. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1988.
Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Eric and Nancy A. Duncan, LaGrange, David and Claudia Duncan, Carlsbad, Calif., Alan and Patricia Duncan, Nappanee, Ind., and James “Dooley” Duncan, LaGrange; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Brown, Cheltenham, U.K.; and a sister-in-law, Agnes Jane Plummer, Columbia City, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Reverend Kenneth Weaver officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Ind.
