Ask the candidates

May 8 is Indiana’s Primary Election date, with a handful of county offices being contested.

The LaGrange Standard-News is planning to submit a questionnaire in early April to candidates in the three contested races.

County races that will be contested in the May Primary are:

·        Republican candidate for Clerk of County Courts – Bonnie Brown, June Brown.

·        Republican candidate for County Commissioner, District 2 – Don Owsley and John (Jac) Price.

·        Republican candidates for County Council At-Large – Michael Strawser, Michael Sutter, Benjamin Taylor, and Steve McKowen.

The LaGrange Standard-News will do a second candidate questionnaire for all of the county office races prior to the November General Election.
