Arthur A. Enyart, 86, LaGrange, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
He was born November 24, 1926, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to Harry Oliver and Dottie (Shupp) Enyart.
Moving from Ohio to LaGrange in 1947, he was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a farmer and worked at Dometic/Duo-Therm in LaGrange until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of Plato United Methodist Church in LaGrange.
He was married January 19, 1962, in South Bend, Ind., to Pat Ottman. She survives.
Also surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Michael and Paulina Thomas, LaGrange, Andrew and Lynn Enyart, LaGrange, William and Rebecca Enyart, Nashville, Tenn., and Steven O. Enyart, LaGrange; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a niece, Marcia Blood, Fairfax Station, Virg.; and two nephews, Michael Enyart, Madison, Wisc., and Patrick Enyart, Marietta, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one great-granddaughter, one great-grandson, and one brother, Glenn Enyart.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 7, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Reverend Russ Hepler officiating.
Burial with graveside service by LaGrange American Legion Post 215 will be in Plato Cemetery, rural LaGrange.
