Arlene S. Mast, 82, Topeka, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at her residence.
She was born July 20, 1931, in Elkhart County, Ind., to Sam T. and Lydia Mae (Troyer) Miller.
She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married October 1, 1953 to Enos A. Mast. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1996.
Surviving are four daughters, Ruth (Homer) Miller, Ligonier, Ind., Naomi (Monroe) Raber, Topeka, Mary (Calvin) Hostetler, Topeka, and Ruby (Floyd) Knepp, Shipshewana; one son, Dennis Mast, Kimmell, Ind.; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lillie (Dan) Bontrager, LaGrange, Amanda (Alvin) Stutzman, North Carolina, and Lydia Mae (Abe) Schwartz, Nottawa, Mich.; one brother, Samuel Miller, Elkhart, Ind.; three sisters-in-law, Anna (Lester) Miller, Michigan, Pat (Seth) Miller, Goshen, Ind., and Emma (Levi) Bontrager, Shipshewana; and a brother-in-law, Bill (Ruby) Hochstetler, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Danny Ray Mast, one great-grandson, Joe Dean Hostetler, five sisters, Marie Mullet, Sarah Mae (Chupp) Helmuth, Ella Chupp, Rosa Lambright, and Ruby Hochstetler, and three brothers, Toba, Lester, and Seth Miller.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Monday, September 23, and all day Tuesday, September 24, at the Calvin Hostetler residence, 11868N 600W-57 in Topeka.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, also at the Calvin Hostetler residence, 11868N 600W-57 in Topeka, with Bishop David M. Miller and home ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
