Arc benefit auction Friday

The Arc of LaGrange County is hosting a benefit auction and supper this Friday, October 11, at the Shipshewana Auction Antique Building in Shipshewana.

At 2:30 p.m., Arc clients will present a program, followed by the start of the auction.

The auction boasts a slew of great items, with proceeds from the sale going to benefit Arc programs.

Among the larger items in the sale are a single buggy, a queen buggy, and a 2-seat open buggy. For those looking to get away, there is a 2011 KZ travel trailer up for auction.

Area workshops have also donated a long list of furniture, including bedroom sets, bookcases, dining room tables and chairs, and more.

Several quilts will also go across the auction block during the sale.

Other items include several bikes, a wide variety of outdoor furniture, shop tools, autographed items and more.

Dinner is available, with grilled chicken, pork burgers, soft pretzels, cotton candy, kettle corn, homemade ice cream and more.
