AnnaBelle Bontreger, 84, Goshen, formerly of Middlebury, died Sunday, August 20, 2014 at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born April 22, 1930, in Goshen, to Lewis H. and Winifred (Long) Nelson.
She grew up as a neighbor to Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, where she was a lifelong member. She was a 1948 graduate of Millersburg High School and retired as a secretary for the family business, Middlebury Produce.
She was married March 6, 1949 to Harold L. Bontreger. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tim (Laurie) Bontreger, Goshen, and Kent (Becky) Bontreger, Middlebury; three grandchildren, Amy (Scott) Stutzman, Kristian (Shana) Bontreger, and Tori (Brad) Blosser; seven great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren, Jamie and Michael Cross.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one great-granddaughter, Abigail S. Bontreger, and two brothers, Richard and Robert Nelson.
Memorial service was held Wednesday, August 13, at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church with Pastor Terry Diener and Pastor Matt Yoder officiating.
Burial is in Clinton Frame Cemetery.
