Angola picked up its first win of the season at the expense of Prairie Heights, 56-44 last Thursday in the consolation round of the NECC boys basketball tournament.
Skyler Stites poured in 20 points to lead the 1-9 Hornets. Chad Hammel chipped in 13.
Spencer Hess scored 10 points and Jacob Heller nine for the 3-11 Panthers.
