Angola blanks Westview in tennis action

Angola blanked Westview, 5-0 in the semifinal round of the Northridge girls tennis regional Tuesday evening in Middlebury.

The loss ended the Lady Warrior season with a 9-6 record.

Northridge, which beat Fairfield, 3-2 in the other semifinal match Tuesday, went on to edge Angola, 3-2 Wednesday night in the regional finale. The 16-4 Lady Raiders move on to semi-state play this Saturday morning at Fort Wayne Concordia against Fort Wayne Canterbury.
