Angola baseballers drop Prairie Heights


Angola handled Prairie Heights, 7-1 in NECC baseball Tuesday night.

Luke Parker drove in four Hornet runs with a double, a single and a sacrifice fly. Christian Bonham and Cameron Clark added two hits to the Angola ledger.

Corey Johnson’s single in the third inning brought home Kyle Burkholder with the Panthers’ lone run of the contest. Matt Handshoe had the other two hits off of winning hurler Skyler Parker, who fanned 16 Heights batters.

Ryan Day and Quinton Holloway split up the pitching duties for the Panthers. They conbined to strikeout two and walk six.
