Agnes Elizabeth Riegsecker, 91, Middlebury, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at her son’s residence in Wakarusa.
She was born January 13, 1922, in LaGrange County, to Claude and Edna (Miller) Miller.
She was a homemaker, worked for the telephone company in Shipshewana for about five years and was well known for her doll hospital.
She was married February 12, 1943, in Elkhart County, to Jesse Riegsecker. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2008.
Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca (Mike) Lee, Middlebury; three sons, John (Deborah) Riegsecker, Gig Harbor, Wash., Joseph (Debi) Riegsecker, Middlebury, and Jerrold (Kay) Riegsecker, Wakarusa; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, James Riegsecker, three sisters, Mary Hartzler, Frances Hooley, and an infant sister, and two brothers, Claude Miller and an infant brother.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Monday, January 21, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury.
Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury prior to the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury with Hospice Chaplain Jane Miller officiating.
