The LaGrange County Health Department will be having an “after hours” flu vaccine clinic from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4.
This clinic is open to adults and children. Children age 18 and younger who are not covered by private insurance will receive the vaccine free of charge. The cost of flu vaccine for anyone with insurance is $25.
Flu vaccine is recommended for everyone age 6 months and older. The health department is using the quadrivalent (four-strain) vaccine this year. Flu vaccine is available in injectable form for adults and injectable and nasal forms for children. Flu vaccine is also available at all regular clinics.
