Additional sites announced for buggy plate sales

 

Additional sites for the purchase of buggy license plates to expire in 2013 have been announced. LaGrange County residents are reminded to bring their 2012 expiring registration receipts with them to purchase new plates.

    BloomfieldTownship: Plates will be available at the township office, 818 N. Detroit St. in LaGrange on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2 to 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m.

    Johnson Township: From 8 a.m. to noon on April 14 at New Valentine School, April 21 at Oak Hill School, April 28 at the Wayne Miller residence (2080S  300E), and May 5 at East Townline School.

    ClearspringTownship: Thursdays from 3:30 to 7 p.m., March 22 and April 12 at Prairieview School, April 19 and 26 at Sunnyside School, and May 3 and 10 at Wabash Trail School.

    EdenTownship: April 7 at Old Honeyville School and April 21 at the Topeka Fire Station. Time at both locations is 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m.

    By Mail (stickers only, new plates must be purchased in person) – send current registration, self-addressed stamped envelope, and a check payable to LaGrange County Treasurer for total amount ($20 for each trailer, $60 for each buggy, cart, wagon) in an envelope and mail to: Eden Township Trustee, P.O. Box 143, Topeka IN 46571-0143.

    VanBuren Township: April 9 at Tollway View, April 13 at Paige Creek, April 16 at Blue Ridge, April 20 at Pleasant Ridge, April 23 at Northside, April 27 at Hidden Cove. Time at each school will be 5 to 7 p.m.

    Clay Township: March 24 at Golden Rule, March 31 at Little Acorn, April 7 at Valley Line, April 14 at Pleasant Acres, April 18 at the Jerry Schwartz residence (3 to 6 p.m.), April 21 at Clay Southeast. From 7:30 a.m. until people stop coming.

    Office hours are 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
