4-H Color Me Green Fun Run

The first ever color run is coming to LaGrange County to benefit the LaGrange County 4-H organization.

The race will be on April 26, starting at 10:30 a.m. at the LaGrange County 4-H Fairgrounds.

There are no winners or official times taken, the 4-H Color Me "Green" Fun Run celebrates family, health, happiness, and friendship, bringing the community together to create a colorful fun event in which participants are doused in different colors periodically throughout the course.

Pre-registration is now open. All ages are encouraged to participate. All pre-registered participants will receive a 4-H Color Me "Green" Fun Run T-shirt and other goodies for the race, if you register by April 12th. If you register after April 12th you will need to wear your own white shirt to the race. There will be green souvenir shirts available to purchase.

The course will begin on the north side of the LaGrange County 4-H Fairgrounds, crossing over to the Lakeland School property, back to the fairgrounds and continuing to the grandstand area and ending back where the fun run began.

The 4-H Color Me "Green" Fun Run Color Run is a feel-good, happy, colorful event. Fun Runners of all shapes and sizes happily go from wearing pristine white clothing, to being covered in a rainbow of color. Throughout the course, a different color of powder fills the air and covers the participants, creating a spectrum of color and splendor. At the finish line the air is filled with vivid color combinations as participants get in on the color throwing fun as well.
