Seven members of the LaGrange County Community Foundation’s LIFE Youth Pod and two adult chaperones participated recently in a major youth philanthropy retreat at Ramsey Farms near rural Mount Ayr, Iowa. The “Phil’s on Phire” Retreat was sponsored by the Dekko Foundation and through a variety of entertaining and educational programs introduced participants to a wide range of exciting community service ideas to better serve local community needs.
