The Shipshewana Town Council took action on three recommendations brought by Shipshewana Town Marshal Tom Fitch at Thursday’s meeting.

Middlebury police officers were investigating a shoplifting complaint and visited a LaGrange County home Wednesday on CR 555N near the west county line, where the suspected shoplifter lived.

Fillmore Equipment hopes to be in a new facility by February 2014 after having their site plan approved at a special LaGrange County Plan Commission meeting Monday afternoon.
